1. Manage transactions with customers using cash registers
2. Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
3. Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets
4. Redeem stamps and coupons
5. Cross-sell products and introduce new ones
6. Collect payments whether in cash or credit
7. Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
8. Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
9. Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies
10. Bag, box or gift-wrap packages
11. Greet customers when entering or leaving the store
12. Handle merchandise returns and exchanges
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Work experience as a Retail Cashier or basic knowledge on sales in preferred
• Basic PC knowledge
• Familiar with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS
• Mathematical skills
• Friendly and able to handle pressure in busy season.
• Strong communication and time management skills
