Hire and train field staff for an agroforestry project
Manage the operations and auditing of baseline farmer surveys.
Oversee all the activities required for the project in the assigned areas. For eg, farmer meetings, channel partner onboarding, field staff visits,etc.
Coordinate with senior staff members and handle daily responsibilities in the field
Prepare a daily monitoring report on the activities carried out by the team, using data-driven results to assess quality
Troubleshoot issues faced by the ground team and coordinate with other supervisors accordingly
JOB REQUIREMENTS
A Bachelor’s degree (2-3 years experience) or a Master’s degree (1-year experience) in forestry, agriculture, economics, social sciences, or related fields.
Strong quantitative and management aptitude with an ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical staff
Willingness to work on the ground on a daily basis
Fluency and excellent communication skills in English
Ability to liaise with senior management of partner organisations
Knowledge of Excel. Data analysis experience in Python, R, or GIS is a plus
